    Help, PC problems.

I installed explorer 8 and had some issues, I restored my computer back to the way it was 2 days ago, which would be explorer 7. Now I do not have a tool bar, the one with file, favorites, etc. Any help would be handy.

Right click where your tool bar would be and make sure the menu bar is checked.

That's the problem, when you right click you don't get the menu bar!

you may have to re-install IE7 if you can't get all the features back. When you roll back, it mainly makes registration changes, and SOME files copied back from the restore point.

Thanks Tommy, I did another restore at a different date and got it back up.

Make sure you have EVERYTHING that you need off of the computer, you will want to write these folders/files off to a / many DVD's.

Go find a copy of the Operating System called 'Linux'. (Ubuntoo would work best for you.)

Download that to the computer, write the iso off to a DVD.

Put that DVD into the DVD reader on your computer.

                    Restart computer.

                    Format the hard drive.

                    Install Linux.

Now you have an operating system that works much better and it comes with just about everything you need / want.
