I'm thinking of getting a cabin for me and my wife. It's about time for a couple of days away. Has anyone been to The Hideaway Ranch & Retreat? It's down by Glenrose. Web site looks good, but you know how that can go. Thanks.

The cabin we were in was very nice, clean and the hot tub was great. Say hi to Roscoe the dog. He is very friendly. We stayed in the cabin and hot tub all weekend. We only saw Roscoe and a few horses all weekend. The owners are very nice.
Take all your food, ice and drink with you. Nothing close to eat. Glenrose is the closest grocery store.

My wife and I stayed there several years ago. Cabins were great as was the hottub. Great place to getaway from the world. We ate a great little place not far from there. Don't recall the name. The owners suggested it. They have the biggest hamburgers and the best fried catfish. It is a small place in an old barn with lots of antiques to look at, sawdust on the floor. Very rustic and full of locals. My kind of place. Have fun.

Just got back from a last minute visit for the holiday. Stayed in the Chateau this time. Both cabins we have been in were very clean and well decorated. We have enjoyed both of our trips down there.
The best way I can describe this place is think of the best "parking place" you every had. The deepest in the woods, the most sucluded parking place you every had. Then put a well decorated, nice, clean cabin with a hot tub there. Satillite TV, efficiency kitchen, with all of the dishes, pots and pans, charcoal grill and nice bedding. There is a pool on the propery that is shared. We were there several times this weekend and never saw another guest. We could hear others on the property but every cabin is very secluded. We worn very little this weekend.
We will be back.
