Feeder Blower Filler Question

How big of a blower does the this project require? Is a 215 MPH/470 scfm big enough? I need to reach close to 12' high to fill my new feeder.

OUTBACK FEEDERS makes one that they will sell you. I decided to make mine to save a few dollars, just wondering if the blower I have was big enough.

BAO is selling one at their yard sale. I think you need to buy the size blower you want for it, but the hopper and attachment are included. Look in the classifieds.

Also, be warned that all that corn blowing through the pvc pipe from the blower to the feeder builds up alot of static electricity. If it's not grounded properly, it'll knock you on your ***.

The one we built needs at least 175mph blower. Make sure the exhaust does not blow out the same direction as the air.
