    Battery 101 Question

I have a vintage VHS camea that i bought. Prestine condition for its age. Wanted to order a second battery for extended filming as i only been getting about 20 minutes of filmtime. The battery at the bottom is the correct battery. The battery Amazon sent me for this model was larger in depth but still fit just fine. I noticed the Ah and Wh are higher though?? Will this just give me longer battery life...or possible fry my vintage camera?
Electricity is not my strong suit.

Just a higher capacity battery... It's like a D, C, or AA or AAA battery... all 1.5 volts... just more stored energy the bigger it is as long as the voltage is the same.

When it comes to batteries, as long as the voltage is the same then you are good to go. The amp hour (AH) or watt hour (WH) rating just tells you how long the battery will run for. So you are good to go to use that new battery.

You should get roughly double the run time out of that new one.
