Travel trailers are not much. Some are referencing their RV's....which are big time vehicles. Nationwide will replace mine if it burns down, floats away or gets destroyed in weather......like my last one.[emoji854]

$300 year with Amica but it is a basic policy on a 9 year old $20K travel trailer.

I had a slide in truck camper that had a value of $39000 and paid $40 dollars per month through Nationwide, which is where we have our home and automobiles.

$120/month does seem a bit high for a $35,000 travel trailer, but it can depend on factors like your location, how much coverage you’re getting, and if you’re bundling with other policies. Full replacement value or higher liability limits can bump up the cost too.

It might be worth getting a few more quotes to compare. Companies like Geico, National General, or even Good Sam are worth checking out. Sometimes bundling with your vehicle insurance can also help bring the cost down.

If you’re planning a trip soon and looking for deals, you can find packages for ideas. Hope you find a better rate!

Something to just make sure, cuz i ran into this when doing mine years ago. Make sure they are quoting for a travel trailer, not an RV. RV is motorized and higher. They dont sometimes know the difference

Progressive $102.17 a month on a 2021 Cameo 38 foot. Full roof replacement is covered, Water leaks, Rats covered, blah blah blah. The water heater leaked and ruined the floor, and Progressive just denied coverage. Said it was dripping and not spraying. We tightened a fitting that was spraying, and it stopped. Cleaned up the water that we could get to and placed a fan in the compartment to help dry it out. A week or so later noticed water dripping out of the side onto the front tire. Sure, enough the plex clamp was dripping again. Called out a RV mobile tech to make the repair. Tey replaced a brass fitting and plastic fitting on the back of the water heater. He sent his report to Progressive when they asked for it. Progressive denied the claim because the RV tech didn't see it spraying only dripping.

Going to replace the floor ourselves real soon. We are also going to shop companies and can't recommend Progressive.

                      Best of luck!
