It all depends on the coverage that you want. We have a Cadillac plan through Progressive on our $100K RV and it is a little over $200 a month, but it covers EVERYTHING and is for full timing.

I’m glad someone pointed that out. You can’t just compare price and say whether someones getting hosed or not. A lot of the cheap policy guys probably have cheap coverages too.

Here are the coverages that I’ve got on my RV and why it is so much higher cost than others;
300k/100k coverage just like normal homeowner coverage
Full roof replacement cost coverage, and this also covers ANYTHING in the RV that gets damaged due to the damaged roof.
Complete insect/rodent damage coverage
$20k personal items coverage
$750 coverage for hotel if the RV has to be worked on
Roadside coverage for our tow vehicle
There are VERY few insurance companies that will insure an RV if you are full timing. If you even hint that you might be full timing with most insurance companies then they will drop you, or raise your rates considerably. I shopped around a lot before getting the policy and Progressive has the best reputation for not jerking you around if you have to make a claim.
