Why does it need to be shot down? Where will people live if we dont allow new homes to be built? yea it sucks that land is being taken for towns and homes, but the world is growing, so unless we start limiting kids people can have or other horrible ideas, we will continue to need new homes and new businesses.

I know that property well. Their north fence line is just across the FM road from our family property. Hate to see that the place is gonna get chopped up. They aren't going to be drawing from Lake Travis. They are supposed to start by getting water from Jarrell/Schwertner, then putting in in their own MUD.

I love it when others tell folks what they can and can’t do with their property.

Well, when it comes from this OP, that is par for the course. Just his way of doing things. If it is not a conspiracy theory, it is something like this. We should all pay him no attention, including myself.

Hate to see more big places get subdivided and sold off. I get it. Just hate seeing it happen to the Texas I used to know.

Why do you hate it? It was never your property and you were never gonna own it so what difference does it make? How does it affect you?

You enjoy watching californians walk in and buy up all the land around you? I dont. I wasnt gonna own the land but it does affect all of us. Taxes go up, liberalism takes hold, crime goes up...

Looks like capitalism is still working. The growth is incredible all across Texas.

Gotta be more dem evil developers bringing in folks from callyforny! Sky is fallin! Population is growing with or without transplants and people want to live in new houses. Always been that way. I'm sure the same folks complained back in the 1800s when that neighbor had the audacity to build a cabin 10 miles away.

It does suck to see all the big tracts/ranches broke up and sold. It's awesome for business and is a positive for me but still sad to see in a way.

I sure wish you would.. Reading your constant, whiny azz, ignorant, childish, replies gets old.

I guess “in a way” progress is sad.

If a cattle baron has a 100,000 acre ranch (for example) and sells it he’s gonna get a dump truck load of cash. Good for him.

In turn the buyer sells 50 acres tracts of land to 2,000 people to build their dream homes on it’s pretty dang good for them too.

Seems like a win, win to those who have skin in the game.

Lmao Californians are coming no matter what. Unless a law is passed to stop them, and that ain’t gonna happen.
