Is this a sika deer?

Looking for help identifying this deer...location is Kerry County.

At first I thought he was a young axis but the lack of spots and the shape of the antlers caused me to wonder if it's a sika or other species.

Sorry for the grainy photo...it's the best one I have of him so far. Thanks in advance for any help!

Looks more like an axis to me

If that's a current pic of a hard antlered buck, it could only be an axis. If it was from last fall/winter, then I'd say sika, based on no throat patch or spots. That could just be bad nighttime pic though.
