Question for anyone here that plays. Have y’all heard of Galaxy Guitar? They make guitars but also make finger extensions for people who have suffered a partial loss of a finger. They have a website that details how to make measurements and pics of your hand to send them and they make a custom one for you. It’s about $500 though and I’m nervous about getting one since I can’t actually go to them to get fitted. Just wondering if anyone here has used them for one or know anyone that used them and how it turned out. The lead guitarist from Black Sabbath has used them since he had two fingers permanently disfigured when he was younger.

No help here on it, but I still play with a bad finger. Got my index finger on a tablesaw. Didn't lose it, but enough nerve damage that I can't really feel it normally, I can feel pain in it though. I can't do much lead stuff anymore with it, but I can still hit all the chords I need

Toni Iomi (sic) of Black Sabbath has prosthetic fingers. Billy Joe Shaver was missing Fingers as well, but still played.
I haveve broken my left index 3 times and my 'you're #1' finger twice... I really don't have problems, but I like playing slide these days...
Grew up with Darrell and Vinnie Abbott as neighbors but always leaned in their dad and uncle's direction (country) and the likes of SRV. Jerry schooled me on lap steel. Pantego Sound, Pantego. Tx.
