      First fawn

Saw one yesterday while mowing here in Tyler County. Hoping the work we put in on coyote control pays off. I’m convinced they decimated my fawn crop last year.

Saw our first today in brown county
Last year we had plenty born but very few survivors
Drought allowed coyotes and bobcats to find them all in my opinion
This year s rain was so welcome to provide habitat.

First and only one so far. And that’s cause at times there are up to 30 deer between my place and surrounding neighbors.

Momma put one next to my front door the other day. Let the dog out and turned around, almost jump a foot off the ground. I thought it was a big snake rolled up. Stayed on the porch all day.

Little boogers are all over our neighborhood. I've already seen two hit by cars.

One dropped Saturday. I think another dropped this morning. No twins this year so far. Saw twins last year.

I think they drop in our yard jus to annoy my pup. He thinks they want to play. Fenced though so he can't get to them.
