I use both OnX and HuntStand. Onx for hunting out of state public and HuntStand in Texas.

The map is horrible on OnX. The only reason I keep it is to pull land owners' names quickly.

Don’t know much about onx but I use HuntStand. I like being able to draw boundaries and adding stands, feeders, seen animals etc. and being able to share.

Base Map uses Google maps. They also have a fun giveaway every so often. You can also use it to find landowner info.

OnX here in Montana, it seems to be used used by most hunters and all the GWs.If you're on public or private land is determined by where the dot is on the GW's OnX.

Google Earth at home when scouting a new area.

Gaia. Use it in all my western hunts. Has a lot of useful different layers
Private, public, topo, satellite forest service roads etc

Gaia is much better and cheaper. You get all fifty states for one price. Many more layers and works a lot better than OnX

Oops. I was supposed to use this link so I could get another chance at the prize.

I use Hunt Stand and OnX. I like the land owner info on OnX better.

While I find the landowner info interesting, I’m not sure what to do with a tax address PO box in Nevada for example. Property lines-yes since Montana law does not require you to post your land to enforce trespass- you’re supposed to know where you should and should not be.
