How many yards of mulch will fit into a 14' Trailer?

John, sorry, I missed the single axle part and just saw “14’ Trailer”. If you have a 5k lb axle, you’ll be fine with two pallets. If a 3500 lb axle, I’d stick to one pallet and see how she squats. Each pallet will be ~4.5 cubic yards and weigh around 2,000 lbs.

If it’s that light I’d put both on there, I was thinking closer to 900-1100lbs per yard. I must be thinking of some other material.

My daughters did pull out all the old plants and turned over the beds and planted 3 flats of color and about 20 other plants (Mexican Heather and Abelia) in the front beds. They did a good job, proud of them. Tomorrow is mulch the front and then work on the side and back bed’s tomorrow.
