I have heard of elk in Stonewall County but we have had a few recently start showing up on cameras. Pretty cool and I hope they stick around.

Had one appear at a feeder in Blanco a few years ago. It's possible.

I'd have zero problem shooting that bull once he is finished growing.

Yes, we have lots of elk and red deer free ranging in parts of Stonewall Co. Mainly isolated to one part of the county, but their numbers are growing and they are moving outside their normal range. Feel free to reach out, I have tons of photos and videos of them.

Had one in SE Kent county a few years back.. It was shot with a bow, but never found.

They eat a lot better than whitetail.

We had an occasional elk and red stag show up on our old place North of Aspermont. Never were there long.
