Alligators in ponds???

Not according to the videos on YT.

Yup. We did the nasa tour in Florida and they had some goofy looking chain link fences that curled over like a candy cane. Tour guide said they were to keep gators off the launch pads.

I have a tiny gator, maybe 30”, in my pond. My neighbor thinks it’s a threat to his dogs/animals and we do share this pond on both our properties. Does an alligator serve any real purpose in a pond because, I do like having a place to chunk the coons and other varmints I trap/shoot that try to get to my wife’s chickens. Don’t get me wrong, I may shoot the guy next season when he’s bigger but, I don’t have an issue with it this year.

We typically just catch and relocate the small one like that out of our pond. We will catch maybe two to three a year in our and release them in the bayou.

You could snag it with a treble hook and relocate it somewhere else.
