    Starting Capacitor?

I have a very old Rockwell 14" band saw that will not run right. I pulled the motor off it yesterday and everything seemed in good working order until I took the cover off the starting capacitor. The leads were either completely rusted or burnt off. Where would I find a replacement? I checked Amazon and can't seem to find a direct replacement and I don't know enough about them to look at one and say, "yeah, that'll do." Somebody school me.

This is off the old one:

    STM
    Motor Starting Capacitor
    4207F-171
    161-180 MFD
    110/115 VAC
    1160-6709

If you can't find it by searching 4207F-71 I would try searching for the saw model parts and see

Hopefully someone that knows more about capacitors will see this and chime in with better info

Try Grainger, they have a lot of capacitors. I bought capacitors for two of my shop air compressors and then my shop fan from them.

There is a slight difference in the farads, but that should not be a problem.
If the dimensions fit your application, and the terminals match your application, you should be good to go. If the connections don't match, you could change the terminals on your wires.
