    Rock tumblers?

Wife is interested in a new hobby, rock tumbling. First thing is no I didn't push her off cliff! Seriously, trying to find out any information on a decent starting tumbler at fair price. What are good brand and size? Any other hints or opinions are appreciated . She is using the small stones for Texas boards for Cancer benefits. I'll post pictures soon. Thanks

Harbor Freight has one, been thinking of getting on as well for all those Terlingua rocks.

Kids got one for Christmas years ago. Put it as far from you as you can . It is noisy and annoying. The rocks did turn out pretty though.

What do you do with the rocks after they've been tumbled?

I did this for a few years. It’s a very slow process, it takes 4-6 weeks of polishing in various stages. It’s amazing how shiny some of the rocks can get.
