The Mitsubish has a “sensor eye” that directs the cool to the correct part of the shop that needs the cool. You can also set it manually to blow where you want it (working under the truck I point the unit in that area). Heater is nice in the winter and it has a dehumidifier setting also.

I’m assuming you meant 24,000 BTU and not 2400.

I have a 7k BTU unit on my reloading room that spray foamed. It has heat and cool capabilities. It’s and LG and keeps it 68° year round in there.

Man, I've seen it all. My favorites include the lineset rolled up next to the unit because the installer didn't have the tools to cut and flare, or just dangling down the wall without being covered, Units not leveled properly, running 3/8 clear tubing for a drain line, improper wire sizes for both high and low volt, sizing issues......
lots of very sloppy installs out there, basically. Sure, there are plenty of Chinese units out there that work just fine, especially when new. The issue is when they break and being able to diagnose issues and find parts in a timely manner.

So that’s 2 tons for 1200sqft and high ceilings….that helps!
