The American Medical Association food pyramid is bull **** and doctors know very little about nutrition. The high carbohydrate low-fat diet is part of the reason Americans have so many hart related health problems. They AMA cannot prove that fat in the diet is harmful and would rather prescribe statin drugs that don't help and only harm you with their side effects. Simple carbohydrates and simple sugars are the cause of so many heart problems. They are recommending 50–70% of complex carbohydrates and over time this will cause insulin resistance which leads to diabetes and then heart problems. They go hand in hand. Also, cancer thrives in a body with lots of sugar in the blood.

People just over 100 years ago ate lots of fat, protein and mostly vegetables, they did not have cancer and or hart problems like they do today, and back then almost everyone smoked!

Our diets have changed very rapidly in the last 150 years, but our DNA has not changed in 10,000 years.

I agree with everything you said, however people 100 years ago worked their arses off daily and we just sit around on the couch mostly. I think that has a lot to do with it. I like liver and think it's part of a healthy diet, also think fats are too and limited carbs, though I plow through sugar like a cocaine addict.

Volatile subject it seems. Like beans in chili.

I’ve tried venison liver twice. Couldn’t do it.

I love organ meats. Heart , liver , kidneys , Balls. Nothing beats fajitas made from venison or beef hearts.

                        This carnivore agrees.
I make my own pate from beef and bison liver and it’s great but venison liver is just too strong for me. For venison I’ll just stick with the heart.

Instead of adding liver to the meat why not add meat to the liver and make you some Liverwurst sausage. Yummmmmm

I don't know why anyone would ruin good liver by adding ground meat.
