Looking to sell a 1969 F100 Ranger but don’t know where to start with the asking price.
The good:
One family owned, bought new at Ford dealership in Gordon, Tx.
All original 302 engine
C4 transmission
Interior is cleaner than expected. But the seat is cracked pretty good on driver side, but original carpet and seat cover.
Minimal rust(cab corners, rocker panels and bed all solid)
Short Bed
It could have 36k miles but probably has 136k.
The bad:
Truck sat for a while and condensation got into one cylinder causing it to rust. It got the rust out and the engine will turn over by hand but the cylinder will need attention.
The roof line is solid but there appears to be some rust above the drip line that will need attention one day.
It was used on the farm and has some whiskey dents and missing trim.
Truly don’t know where to start. Something between $2500-5000? Expect more or less?
