I picked up this gravely ZThd60 used will flat out knock some grass out. I do wish it had the better seat and the shock absorbing front shackles. There is a dealer in Sealy and my cousin in Temple is also a dealer

I have the Patriot with the mulch kit and experienced the same thing. Took off the mulch plate and just use the side discharge now and it's okay. Still!

Second year in and I love it. Well built and moves faster than I thought it would. I had a Hustler prior to this but the Scag is much better built and faster ground speed plus it has the serviceable hydro's not sealed like I had on the Hustler.
I paid just shy of $6k two years ago new.
Starting my 3rd summer with a Scag Liberty Z, but with a 48" deck. Not a single problem so far. My yard is just over 1 acre. Kawasaki motor. Was Approximately $5k. Good luck...

I took it back to dealer and they adjusted the baffles and it did not help at all. I have moved the baffle to every position and it is still the same . I would not purchase anouther one .
I went a low lift blade and solved all of that, but it doesn't mow clover and tall grass(over 10" tall) nearly as well. Great tradeoff for me, but I don't mow commercially. Baffles in lowest position.

I have a ferris. I've owned exmark, kubota, gravely and dixon mowers. The ferris has been equally dependable to all except the exmark and it rides so much better.

I'll probably always own ferris going forward.

You must mow pretty tall? Mine has the same Velocity deck and only throws out the front if the chute is closed or if mowing with deck above the 3-1/2” mark.

That said the Velocity deck can’t be beat for speed of quality cut and ability to handle wet grass without clogging! I used to wait until grass was completely dry due to clogging but now I prefer to mow first thing in the AM while the dew is still heavy so I don’t eat dust or blowing grass.

Due to weather forecast I choose to mow wet this evening, this is about 35 minutes of mowing.

IS2100z runs great and never been in the shop.

Same here. My Ferris has a 61" deck with a 26 hp B&S. It's 5 years old and the only thing I've done is change the blades and the oil once a year. Even the belt is original. The 4 wheel independent suspension is nice. I have almost 7 acres and mow about 4 rough acres of it every week during season. I paid over $8k 5 years ago, I am sure they have gone up, like everything else the last 2 years.

I had an Exmark before this one, but sold it to DoubleL because I sold the property I was mowing at the time. He's been using it for around 12-14 years, said it's still going strong when I saw him at Bownanza this year.

I just put an order in for a Hustler Dash XD 42"...this will be my first zero turn riding mower. (we had a snapper rear engine rider years ago but been push mowing for past 10 years and im sick of it) the hustler seemed to get good reviews from what I saw. I'm mowing less than an acre and it's all flat...I push mowed it for the last time last week! Can't wait for it to get here!

I agree if I mow when there is a lot of moisture in the grass or after a rain it helps . I have had a few different zero turns and this is the only deck that does this even if it is semi dry . I am seriously considering selling it because of this .

My Bad Boy with 48” cut & 30hp Kohler is 17 years old. I think it is a Z Pro model. It has been to a shop 1 time & that was just to repair the switch for the hydraulic deck. And that’s mowing about 4 acres about every 3 weeks all those years. I don’t baby it & have just changed filters & blades whenever I remember. I’ve mowed stuff that should have probably been cut with brush hog. My dad said Bad Boy should buy it back & put it on the show room floor. Because what my dad has seen mine get put through he bought one a couple years ago with 60” deck. His has dual exhaust & it is very loud. Need hearing protection to use it. I can’t recall if it’s a Maverick or Outlaw.

You have something wrong. They have a warranty. Have you taken it back to the dealer to be corrected?

0% interest on bobcat mowers now. I have a Bobcat tractor that has been reliable so far.
