I am just wondering if anyone else thinks like me… let me say that I am veteran and thankful for all of the branches of service. I recently saw a bumper sticker that had remember those 58k plus that didn’t make it home from Vietnam. I often think about those America souls that were taken and wonder who they were and what they would have been.. it doesn’t make any sense why we fought for those that just gave up once we were gone. Turn the page to Iraq and Afghanistan…4k plus and others suffered injuries. Each of these places gave up within days or hours after our departure. This is not a dig on any service member but as best I can recall the last war that was fought for a cause worth fighting was Korea. I know we fight for our brothers who are fighting beside us but a war should never be based upon any political agenda. Guess it just doesn’t make sense to me. I am not trying to bash anyone who has served but it you look at the politics behind the failures it just sucks that so many americas have died over the last 40-50 years fighting/dying for those who did not have the ball to fight for themselves.
