I did it 7 years ago. I love my old rickety Mathews HTX. It’s not bad over here. I just sacrifice a small goat twice a year and drink muddy water every Friday 13th. But I shoot pass throughs an awful lot with a super smooth, slow old man bow…….worth it!

Welcome Welcome!! I did it in 2018 and haven't looked back! Three folks in my hunting friends group have done the same. Trying to covert a 4th before he thinks he has to go to a crossbow. He shoots the same brand you used to, but his wife, the slayer, shoots a lower poundage Mathews...

I envy you but Smart's previous comment is exactly why I switched from Hoyt to a V3X 29 last year. Blew out my left shoulder years ago and never had it fixed, the switch weight feature on the newer Mathews is a great thing.Originally posted by Kas View PostComment
