Auto insurance premiums

We love Germania and have had them for quite a few years, but it is a substantial increase. Sure don't want to mess with changing but might have to look around.

I was pretty frustrated this was our first renewal with them! Really bad business if you ask me

We have been with them a long time at this point and loved them. Gotta be pushing close to 15 years. Great service, great claims service, everything about them. I would have never considered changing before this rate increase and really don't want to change.

Been an agent for 32 years. If you fall in the category of “no tickets/no accidents” you should be shopping your auto rates. I have not seen anything like this other than the early 2000’s when mold was an issue. Most companies are still open for business, but I believe the market is about to shrink up. It is already happening on the home insurance side.

I am more than happy to run quotes for anyone shopping. Most of my business the last couple of months have come from Geico, USAA, and Allstate. But if you have been with any company for 3-5 years or more, you owe it to yourself to shop the rates.

Going to keep going up as long as replacement value is 70-100k for a truck. Oh and an invasion of third world peasants who will never have an insurance policy

For those that have renewed their policies lately what type of increase did you get this year? I read a few things recently that said most companies were increasing auto plans 20-25%. I just got mine and it increased 31% year over year. No accidents and no tickets.

I’m not looking for opinions on what I should or shouldn’t do……just trying to get an idea of th increases y’all are seeing. TIA.

My auto insurance is up just at 20%, and we’re supposedly getting a “deal” for being accident free, also have HO policy with them, and a half dozen other accolades.

As a follow up to this post, I got a quote from another insurance agency earlier this week that was going to lower my premiums by about $2500/year, and I was about to tell them to write it until I got an unsolicited quote from my current agency that I’ve been with for 20 years. My auto insurance is going from $9800 to $5600/year. I’m currently with Liberty Mutual, and the quote earlier this week was with Germania. The quote I got today was with Progressive.

I absolutely hate shopping insurance, but if you’re not shopping around, you should be.

Just got our home/property insurance renewal.. It's going up 40% also.

This is insane between health, car, house insurance and property taxes going up max.
