This is my dad and his car back in the 50’s. I think this is a 1950 Mercury or Buick.
Anyone know for sure ?

Old Car Help
Back in the 50’s did they have different trim packages ?
All of the cars I have found the trim starts at the headlight, not behind the front tire and none have double trim.
Also, the hood ornament doesn’t look exactly the same.
Thanks for y’all’s help.

found the 1952 Sales brochure with complete details
I believe it's a Catalina model based on the front side windows that open for air flow ... look at the shape

Thanks all. My Pops has been gone several years and I would love to retire in a few yrs and do the car show scene. Mostly just to hangout and visit and enjoy all the cars.
