Why low number of columns?

I’m normally logged on here reading thru campfire, other side, and classifieds mostly. In the campfire section, I can scroll thru numerous, actually unlimited columns , but for the last week or two, the number of columns in the “other side” is limited to 7 columns. I then have to manually select the last week, or 3 week, or more week tab to get more columns. Can someone tell me how to correct that?
I know it’s one of those third world problems, but kinda frustrating….

Columns? If you mean pages that allow you to go further back in time. Check display options settings at the bottom of each main forum page ie: Around the Campfire

This is the issue. On the campfire forum, the number of pages is endless. But the classifieds pages is only showing 7 rows of posts, unless I go to the bottom (every time) and change that ‘from last 2 days- to last 3 months, or last 6 months. But I have to change that EVERY TIME I go to the forum.

Click on "User Tools" on the menu bar
Click on "User CP"
On the left hand side menu go down and click on "Edit Optons"
Scroll down to "Thread Display Options"
Check to see if "Number of Posts to Show Per Page" is set to something besides Forum Default....or set it to something you can live with like 30-40.

OK you are talking about the number of pages. I had that problem with the Other side of rhe ranch a year or so back. Every time I changed the display options it.would not hold, tried all three browsers on my phone. I finally tried it from my PC and it saved and can access PC or phone now. Hope that might work.

That’s not the issue. The issue is “The Other Side of the Ranch” is defaulted to only display posts from the last 2 days. You can scroll down to the bottom of the page and change how many days of posts it displays

OP have you tried setting your display options on a PC or Mac and not via a mobile connection? My Other side of the Ranch is showing 417 pages available for viewing.

All I can picture in my head is a column going through hedge rows thanks to Smart.
