    2 cups flower
    Pinch of salt and pepper
    Pinch of Baking Powder
    1 Tsp dried parsley.
Mix dry ingredients well and whisk in 2 eggs and some milk to make a thick dough. At the end wet your spoon in the gumbo and ladle one spoon full at a time into the liquid. Cover and cook for 10 more minutes and it’s finished.
Sounds good. I had a Cajun neighbor that would think he struck gold anytime he is cleaning turtle and find eggs in it. Those would go in the pot at the end. Ate them by bitting the ends off and sucking the goodness out.

I don’t know the recipe, wish I did so I could share, but the turtle soup at Brennans is awesome when you are hungover lol. Wish I knew how to replicate their soup

Turtle soup with a nice liquor shot poured into it and let it steep a bit... Used to be a place in Houma that had the best in the world!! Turtle soup still had the bones to gnaw the cartilage off of... don't have a clue how it's made, but that bowl of soup and a shrimp po-boy was the food of the gods!!

Caught 2 softshell turtles todat that were absolutely huge. Should have tossed one in the cooler. Had turtle soup in New Orleans and it was great.

Cleaning that thing was interesting to say the least. I think snapping turtles are a lot easier. But I've cleaned more of those than the other so I guess that's probably why. I jabbed my finger with the knife twice skinning that sucker. It's sore as heck.

This one I got had eggs in it. I never thought to do that. That don't sound like a Cajun dish. That sounds more deep South than that. I'm thinkin more Southeast......Asia.

Had a guy tell me how to eat turtle once - it was something like, boil it, bake it, deep fry it - and them call for a Pizza!

On the softshell turtle I found out you really can't separate the top shell from the bottom shell. You have to get your hands a little more messy and get in there to break the parts you're supposed to keep from the top shell. It took me a little bit to figure it out.

I need to add some weight to my bow. I shot that turtle yesterday and it didn't go through it. You talk a mother bear getting that point back out. Holy smokes. It took me at least an hour to get it out of the shell.

Yes you can Austin. Use a hack saw or sawsall on both sides that hold the shell together. I’ve done many through the years this way.
