yeah we needed the rain, now it will green up like 2 years ago and the deer will not hit the feeders so much. just have to hunt harder

Funny you mention this, starting 3 days ago I have had a major drop in numbers each throwing.

I will NEVER complain about getting rain out at the ranch, but about 2-3 days after the rains last week the deer have quit hitting the feeders. I mean like totally quit. Guess everything greened up enough and they have plenty of fresh browse now. May have to change tactics opening weekend and actually "hunt". Lol.

Cell cam activity at spinners has CEASED. With the recent rains it's going to make things not near as easy as it would have 2 weeks ago..

I only had one camera running the last month, but so far so good. We were out this weekend building a box blind and another bow stand.

We got some more rain this morning right as the sun was rising. Doesn't look like all that much but I'm sure the animals & ranchers are loving it. I'll be there this weekend to hopefully fill a tag or two.

6 cell cams on feeders & only one of them had 1 deer in daylight this morning.. the two deer I saw both were gone before legal shooting light.
