Shot this one Sunday afternoon. Stayed in the Saltillo lodge. Hunted for a cow yesterday and this morning with no shots except for 2 pigs. Sunday afternoon we couldnt turn around without seeing a nilgai, it was crazy. Then they just disappeared. Put some miles on the boots, thats for sure!

Simon was my guide back in March - couldn't have asked for much more. Had a nice bull and a hog in no time. He said one of his goals is to get clients close (under 100 yards) & it worked that way for me.

Bring OFF and sunscreen. Most of the ranch was fine, but the low areas had standing water and plenty of mosquitos. And comfortable boots. We walked at least 5mi a day.

We also saw a decent number of oryx and a few waterbuck. And more turkeys than I have ever seen, they are everywhere.

I really don't want to see an Oryx and Waterbuck. I don't want to be tempted.
