Questions for those that have hunted in Spain

I know several on the green screen have hunted in Spain. I am hunting Cantabrian Chamois and Gredos Ibex in a few weeks and had a few questions.

How much did you guys tip the guide? Most of what I have read says tipping is not really a thing in Spain but I don't know how that applies to guides. I know you are supposed to tip the gamekeeper.

Is there anything else that you wish you had known before you went? I have never hunted in Europe.

I’ve never hunted in Spain but it would seem that if you feel like the PH or Tracker/Skinner is deserving of a tip then give him/her a tip…..

I usually do about $100 day for the PH in Africa.

My outfitter told me about how much to tip, was 80-100 euros each if I remember correctly. The Cantabrian Chamois area is amazing!! I shot a Gredos as well last time there. Enjoy!! Spain is awesome!!!

I tipped the guide $100 per day - there was also a "game warden" type guy who also went along - he had to verify that the Ibex was mature before we could shoot it.

I took this Gredos - Spain is an awesome place to visit and hunt - folks were super nice and the country is beautiful
