I am paraphrasing, but you can look up the text yourself....
A man came to Jesus and said, "Would you please settle this estate dispute that I have with my brother?"
To which Jesus responded, "You think that is why I came?! You need to go work the issue out for yourselves in the light of who God is."
God is not interested in atomizing our lives and deciding every, single step we take. We are not robots. Are you in a loving relationship with Him? Then he trusts you and believes that whatever decision you make will be honoring to him.
I recommend a book by Gary Friesen called "Decision Making and the Will of God."
