    The Good Gas Thread

There's plenty of bad gas in the world these days - even on TBH. We all contribute to that from time to time on here and elsewhere. But how about a thread that's nothing but good gas? Lord knows we all need some encouragement and good gas in our lives.

So if you have something truly positive, uplifting, or encouraging to share, post it here. If you need to see or hear something positive and uplifting, come back and enjoy what somebody else left for you.

And, please, don't clutter up the thread with bad gas. There's plenty of those threads to post on already. Sadly, you'll find far too many of my comments and posts on them. I'm sorry for that. I'm truly gonna try to do better.

Anyhow, I'm gonna start us off by posting this video of a great old song, People Get Ready. It has a great message and melody. I stumbled on this version of it the other day. I'd never heard of any of these musicians before, but they are phenomenal. Their rendition of this song is the best I've ever heard. Take 4 minutes and 35 seconds out of your day to give it a listen. If it doesn't make you feel relaxed and better, I'll give you your money back.

And be sure to come back when you have some good gas to share and post it here. We'll never fix everything that's wrong with the world, but we can make our little corner of it a little better for a few minutes here and there. That's a win.

Shane I have GREAT gas! I am a small to
Medium size concrete contractor. I was doing lots of work for a GC here in Houston. Kept winning all the work.
We were doing a 1 mil dollar job in Conroe for said GC when the first payment did not make the deadline. We kept working and filed liens and finished job while GC kept coming up with excuses why he could not pay us our 500,000 he owed us. He bailed out and became a POS.

While I was concerned and worried about my company and employees I had a very calm feeling. I was lawyered up big time. But knew not to worry.

The owner of property contacted us and said he wanted the make it right and get us caught up. To his word he did. But I will say I knew God had my back and was teaching me a lesson on worrying.

I woke up this morning. I was able to get out of bed. And dress my self. I'm on the way to having a great day! I hope and pray that the rest of TBH will also.

Kudos on starting this thread, Shane. I am guilty of getting sucked into the negativity and divisiveness as well. We have to remember to be the change we want to see. My 7 yr old daughter loves this song, and I think it puts me in a positive mood.

Faith in God is worry free. You established a path for His provision when you placed you're faith in His faithfulness. Job well done sir! I believe you will also hear those words from The One Whom which they matter.

We have had a 2 year exit plan for retirement for sometime but a change has entered into the equation and we may retire before the year is done. We’ve had an offer to buy us out so we are waiting for the potential buyer to be funded. That’s some good gas for us. Thanks for the opportunity to share that info Shane.👍👍

Most of yall have seen this but worth a short revisit.

This is an xray of dads back on Dec 20th after crushing it. No medical repair. Then here he is mowing the yard and supervising the bbq pit. A couple weeks ago.

Steve, this was the first thing I thought of when this thread came up. I almost posted the link to the thread but then realized it was best to let you post it. I knew you would not disappoint. I still praise Jesus for this one!

I’m driving Miss Janie this morning, (she’s the love of my life), also have my constant companion, Sarge the Wonder Dog along. Life could be better I guess, but I don’t know how.
