My wife said she'd try it get it to him somehow and then looked at shipping Over $500 LOL

We will be heading to Portland to see our son and family, so we may be running along the roads together. As the old CB slang went, "you shake em, and I'll rake em."

I'm headed to Portland as well. We're going the last week of June but we're flying. I hope I don't regret it but we didn't want to spend all that time driving this time.

We're the exact opposite. I've driven from central Texas up to Salt Lake probably 8-10 times. And from Utah up through Idaho 3 times and to Portland twice. And we lived in Provo for 2.5 years.

If I was driving north or east I'd opt to drive.

If you're in northern Utah take the canyon drive from Logan to Bear Lake. That's the best pass to drive for a scenic view IMO

I’ve driven up to and through Idaho 9-10 times now at least. Made it as far as Boise once, but never been beyond that. From Boise up through Washington will be brand new country for me, and I’m looking forward to the drive. If I’ve got the time I’ll drive it every single time before hopping in a bird.

I'm in DFW and fly to SLC at least once a month, just got back Sunday--

But I will be headed that way the third weekend in May- shoot me a PM and let's figure it out-- I fly but have free bags--- so if it has a hard case and you're willing to put it under a plane...

BTW - You'll love the drive up through western Idaho. Driving along clear flowing rivers for hours.
