I like the guy, and agree that he seems to be a genuine dude and a class individual, but relatively speaking, no one has had an easier path.
True. Wentz has proven to be a hack, but at the time, he was coming off an MVP caliber season before the ACL injury. He was viewed by many as philly’s savior. Hurts out played him and was obviously a better fit in the locker room than Wentz was. After Jalen got Alabama to the natty in 2018, Tua was put in. He moved on I can’t blame him honestly. Can you? He went on to have success at Oklahoma as well and people still doubted his accuracy, football IQ and his fit in the NFL. What he do? Go out and be the highest paid QB in the league.

I don’t blame him for leaving, but it was the easy way out. Zero QB prospects have been drafted without doubts…not one.

I’m not trying to argue, just curious of your perspective. He’s a very talented dude, there’s no doubt about that.

Dude…..why are you beating on him? He’s worked as hard and seems to be as genuine as any?

If your read the entire exchange between Mr Johnson and I, and the complements I tried to pay to Hurts.... and you still think I'm "beating on him", then further explanation will not change anything.

No way any professional player should make the kind of money they do. I guess no normal working person will ever be able to afford to take their kids to a pro ball game. Just my opinion. Nothing against Jalen.

Y’all better check again! Tua came in and saved the day in the Natty on a last second play. He was then promoted to being the starter and Jalen never wavered or left. He saved Bama’s backside when Tua was stinking it up against Georgia. Straight up great guy, humble, team player and Texan. He stayed that entire next season knowing that he had won a National Championship for his team and then got demoted. Never complained and then after a year as Tua’s backup he transfers to OU. Now he balls out at OU and is the runner up for the Heisman. Comes to the NFL and balls out. Do any of them deserve that much money? He$l NO!!! However, if your going to pay one, I’d rather pay one who is a team player, humble, straight laced and a proven leader!

235 yds per game combined rushing and passing
                            2.05 tds per game Combined

A lot of money for mediocre production…..

Great guy but he is NOT a superstar in this league

If Brady was in his prime right now he would be worth $100 M
                            Per year
