Any tips/advice for first timers? There have been a few others on here that have gave some great information, but more is always welcome.
Definitely get the transformer for phone charging.
The place we stayed didn’t have 120v in the rooms. I got this one.

I used the most comfortable leather gloves that I found at tractor supply. They worked fine, but we didn’t have to load our guns, the bird boys were shoving shells in as fast as you could shoot them. Not sure how this outfitter does things…

Get some kind of recoil reducing device or shirts. I bought some through cabelas. You could remove the pad from the shirt if needed. They worked great. I shot around 5,000 rounds and my shoulder was fine.

As mentioned, the wine is excellent

FAUNA is their federal wildlife agency, similar to our USFWS. But, good luck talking to anyone there. When it happened to us last year, I contacted some US folks that outfit in Argentina and they informed me that Argentina was indeed open despite what the outfitter told us. They said there could be many reasons why that particular outfitter wasn't hunting ducks (lost lease, couldn't afford the outfitter permit, didn't join the political lobby, etc.), but the season was open. I later confirmed by talking to several folks that hunted ducks down there that season.
