    Agri-Fab Tow Behind Spreader

Noticed Lowe's has these for about $120 for the 85LB capacity size. Not the best reviews. Anyone have one of this type & how do you like it or don't? Other brand recommendations? Looking for something in that capacity size or a little bigger to plant food plots and spread fertilizer behind my 4-wheeler. Thanks

If it is the one I am thinking about, you will not be able to reach the control handle/release/stop lever from your 4 wheeler. Think about when you need to stop at the end of a run, turn, and start again. I tried to jerry rig an extension, but it didn't work well. I finally gave up and just use the push type...plus I get some much needed exercise.

I rigged up a bracket for my road feeder that goes on the back of my 4 wheeler. I can easily reach the handle that opens the trap. You can adjust the discharge plate for grains and fertilizer. I did a one acre plot last year and just turned a 1/2 acre for my spring plot and will disc the other 1/2 acre when I figure out what I'm going to go with. The road feeer will hold 50#.
