    Web Designer???

Good Morning and happy Easter TBHer's,

I am starting my own Non-profit and am working on getting the website up and rolling. Anyone have any contacts or hints? I want to make sure I am set up for success and I am not very "creative" when it comes to writing or design.

This is the orginal post about the nonprofit.
    Here

    Thanks for the assist,
    Drew

If you don’t want to spend a lot of money, I would look into squarespace.com. Really easy to setup and out of the box templates. I think a basic website is like 25 bucks a month.

BigCountry, I am setting up with Wix.com which is very similar to squarespace. My problems are all the pics and words and stuff ha ha. I also have no Idea where to start for royalty free images, what looks good with what. What is needed to make it "pop" and generate donations and the like.

If you get the website set up I can do all your writing for you. I have a degree in professional writing and technical communication with a big emphasis on writing for the web. I might be a little bit rusty but I used to build websites on the side. Not interested in designing a website but if you tell me what you need/want to say and tell me an approximate word count for each piece, I can help you out. I'm a veteran and appreciate what you're doing.

I realize this is an old post, sorry for resurrecting it! If anyone else is looking for a web design / SEO guy who also happens to be an avid outdoorsman (bow hunter #hoytforlife and fisherman), please keep me in mind. I recently started a web design company here in East Texas called FaithWorks Business Solutions where I am doing website design and SEO work for local businesses. However, I have years of experience in the outdoors arena as I have owned/operated Reel Texas Outdoors for many years building and selling fish traps and fish-holding cages.

Anyhow, if anyone is interested in getting a custom, SEO-optimized, website for their outdoor business, please keep me in mind. I would love the opportunity to earn your business. I'll drop my link below.

                Thank you, gentlemen.

                Mike
