Anybody live near the Daisetta sinkhole?

Looks like the sinkhole in that Liberty County salt dome is growing again. News reports make it sound like it's about to collapse and swallow the whole town. I imagine it would be a bit unnerving if you lived close to it

I was in Daisetta 3 weeks ago and had no idea. Lots of old oil wells in the surrounding swamps.

I know several people that live there.They are all keeping a nervous eye on it. Blue Bonnet News has a lot of pictures of it.

I’ve got a couple relatives there. I hope there worse doesn’t come to pass.
