Propane costs in central texas questions

Thanks for all the feedback! I have induction cooking and I'm not sure I could ever give that up... I do like the idea of buying a tank. I'm not sure how many propane companies service my area so I will shop around for pricing before I commit.

I should add: Is there an APP like gas buddy to check propane prices? They are all over the place an very few post their price online.

wonder if Action installs in Burnet county. Hope to build a house in a year or so. They sold me my current tank and have filled it over the years.

I’m pretty sure they do. They have a pretty big area they cover. If not, P&R or Star propane will. I would recommend staying away from Pinnacle or Suburban. 4T propane is also out in that area.

i've been with them since we built our house some 24 years ago. Never an issue. When we start our build process, I'll holler at them.

I’m West of Fort Worth. We bought our tank used from Ferrel Gas which is one of the big companies in the area. We have gas heat and a gas cooktop with a pretty small house. We typically have to fill it once a year and if it’s colder a second fill. We are paying $2.00-$2.50 a gallon and roughly buying 200 gallons at a time.
