Officially a new rule for Bownanza 2024

There were a lot of unclaimed name tags left on the table again this year.

After conferring with TBH management, it as been approved that anybody who requests a name tag for the 'Nanza festivities, and then does not show up, will be fined $100 per each name tag for the no-shows...up to a maximum of $500 per family. It costs money and time for Mary and Kevin to make these just to post on here, "Sorry I couldn't make it", "Gonna try real hard to make it next year", "looks like a lot of fun; wish I could have made it", "Wish it was closer", "Got an invite to go turkey hunting", etc. etc. etc.

I live out of state so until I retire I probably won’t be able to make one but why not have a non refundable registration fee of $25 per attendee, $12 per child age 12-18 and free for children under 12.
That should cover any administrative expenses and possibly a Nanza t-shirt or hat.
I would imagine anyone planning on going could afford that reasonable registration fee. Just a thought.

Wish I had known there were left overs. Mine was brought to me, since I was so busy cook-n and all. Would I have got-n fined too for not pick-n it up? Or just a demerit?
