Yes, forgot to mention the meat. I had heard it was the best wild game available, but I didn't understand just how much better than anything else I've tried! For us it is really like eating good beef - something I don't see myself needing to buy any time soon. I can see why hunting Nilgai cows is popular too.

Yes, I did the day hunt. To add lodging basically doubles the cost of the hunt. If money were no object, would love to stay there.

You mentioned that they dropped it off at a local processor. What do you get nilgai made into? I’ve never done a Nilgai hunt but really want too and was just curious.

Congrats on a great hunt. My son and I will be on the King ranch this coming Halloween night for a 2 day hunt for Nilgai.Our first time on the King Ranch, really looking forward to it.
