    Scary Evening Here in Iowa

There was a historic tornado outbreak this afternoon across Missouri, Iowa, Illinois, Arkansas, Tennessee and the storms are moving on east. That blue area is the airborne debris field off the big wedge to the north east of us. Fortunately the big wedge tornado tracked mainly thru rural agricultural areas although I am sure there was a lot of damage. Prayers spoken for everyone in the path of these storms

It was in the 70s today. Supposed to get down to 32 tonight.

That’s terrible ! I saw that earlier this afternoon. Tornadoes boxes stacked on each other on my radar app. Prayers for those affected.

Tornadoes are no joke. One went through our ranch last April. Loads of trees down, and wiped out my cabin.

We were very lucky. We got strong straight line wind, rain and hail. The big wedge formed just northwest of us. Lots of damage reports starting to be announced.

We had a warning just N of us in Tyler, but I don’t think it hit the ground. Wife and I had a rib craving and started to Whitehouse but had to turn back because of trees across the road. Luckily, there’s another route to ease my rib cravings. We had some pretty strong winds too.

Glad y’all are safe. I was on a teams call with my rep that lives in Little Rock. Sirens kicked on and he said he wasn’t worried. Heard a bunch of trees smashing in the background and his connection dropped. Luckily he and his dog are okay but their house has a tree in it and he’s got a couple hours of chainsaw work left to be able to get out of the driveway. Been a bad spring for storms already
