Offense was owned today by Yankee pitching. Bad send at 3rd cost us a run the one time we had a chance.

Rangers had runners on 1st and 2nd with no outs in the 8th and 9th and couldn’t find a way to score. That included a couple of bad breaks. Nate Lowe struck out in the 8th on a couple of called strikes that looked like balls, that would’ve loaded the bases with no outs. And Duran smashed a ball down the line in the 9th that went a foot foul that would’ve tied the game and had runners second and third with no outs.

Gray was outstanding again but takes a tough loss

So....suffice to say the Angels will pick up a game on us today. Look at the 13 spot they put up in the top frame of the 3rd inning against the Rockies. Yes....you read it right!! 13 runs! Wow!

Good grief....they put up another 8 runs in the 4th inning. I wonder if that is some record for 2 consecutive innings output? Ouch.

Rangers with a tough matchup today against Gerrit Cole. Not the worst first inning for them. Put up a run. He struck out the side, but threw 27 pitches. Would love for them to make him work and get him out of the game without being able to go too deep. Time to see how Eovaldi is throwing today.
