    Shout out for Graysonhogs

I’ve been trying to “ Up” my game of smoking the perfect brisket. I’ve had a lot of solid advice from the real Pit Masters on this forum but Ritchie sent me some of his special blend of spices for brisket and I’ve been waiting for the opportunity to try it out. That opportunity presented its self on this past Monday and I was well prepared to give it my all. Sorry for the fact that I have no pictures ( i know, it didn’t happen ) but I was multitasking and just clearly forgot. The brisket was good+, but the flavor was incredible with great bark. I’m not sure what is in his seasoning but it’s the best flavor that I’ve ever tasted in a brisket. Thank you very much sir.

Wow! A brisket thread with no pics.

    You’re better than this Terry.

His PM box is probably about to fill up with folks looking for his seasoning recipe

Will there be a Gumbo Man’s BBQ opening soon?

If I could buy stock in that rub I would. It’s that good. As far as me opening a BBQ joint, that’s a true talent that I do not possess.

Thanks Terry, spent a lot of time getting that rub where I wanted it. Everyone seems to love it. Now try it on some thick steaks. It’ll make you drop kick puppies. [emoji51]

Hey thanks for the tip. I’m gonna do that next Tuesday. And as luck would have my neighbors dog just had a litter.👍👍

I've never, to my recollection seen any pictures of his restaurants food.

Like most good restaurants...no cameras or phones allowed. The wife and I happily checked ours in at the front desk just to taste these two or three hundred year old Cajun recipes out of the Louisiana bayous. But this thread is not about his restaurant. So back to your regularly scheduled programming.

I would rather keep this thread about the generosity of Ritchie with all due respect.

Who is this Graysonhogs lady you speak of? I saw her name tag on the table at Bownanza, so I must have missed her making the rounds.
