Phone signal inside the house weak.

Outside I get 4 bars, inside 2 weak bars or less. I tried a booster but it was to strong and the booster shut down.
Is there to get the signal inside without having a booster and without having to plug the phone in to something.

You have radiant barrier? I have heard folks who have had issues when this is the case.

As far as I know you need a booster. I use a Wilson to solve the same issue.

If you have an iPhone go to Settings - Phone - WiFi Calling - On

Connect to your wifi for internet and turn on wifi calling. Fixed it for me

Agree. Radiant barrier definitely makes it weaker if you don't want to use wifi for whatever reason, though.

Radiant barrier and metal roofs kill cell signal. I’m not sure what you mean when you said the booster signal was too strong and shut down. If you have home Wi-Fi then like mentioned already change your phone settings to it. There’s antennas you can purchase fairly cheap that can help also. I had the same issue with losing signal when I side my home. I only had two bars outside and one inside. Added the 3g/4g antenna and that gave me 3 bars inside the house.

My iPhone is: Settings, Cellular, wifi calling, on

This one is similar to the one I have. Mine several years old now so it’s not exactly the same model.

Foamed houses too. But when we switched from Verizon to ATT, it seemed to fix it.

Tech shield really weakens my cell reception. Sometimes I have to walk out on my patio to use it.

Any reflective surface will cause issues.
Plenums in walls, and AC ducting will get you as well.
5G only makes the problem worse.

At deer camp, we have good signal outside, weak inside barn (metal) with door open. At night, no signal at all with door shut. Got a cell booster from Amazon. Now full signal inside barn.

Finally, got it done. No more flashing lights. I move the all around the house, even inside the attic. Changed all couplings and turned the plug over. Not sure what made the difference.
