Snickers fed coon. Twizzler squirrel. Starburst deer. Skittles possum.
    Num num.
The hard choice is whether to drink a red or white wine when eating the crock-potted candied critters.

I dont think that type of sugar is good for the microbes in the deers gut. I bought corn syrup once thinking it would be an attractant until I learned it was harmful. Can't imagine this is much different

The amount of corn any one deer can eat from a spin feeder when 3/5 other deer are competing is not gonna change that deer much. Some of this thinking is way over complicated.
This old candy is NOT being fed from a spin feeder. It is being put in protein feeders and troughs for any critter to eat as much as it likes. The candy jams up spin feeders. Not just deer are consuming it...hogs, deer blackbuck and the occasional axis.

Sounds like a sticky mess that will attract ants. No thanks

A friend of mine use to get candy like that somewhere in Abilene to feed his pigs. Starburst are the first candy that comes to mind. He also got Nuts of all kinds from a Nut Company the same way. He got a whole pallet of cashews that were freezer burnt around the outside of the 4x4 box, but the inside was perfectly fine. I got 5 gallons of them and put them in my freezer. My dad bought old bread from the Ft. Worth Mrs. Baird's plant and fed his hogs back in the 70`s.

Nothing people feed deer is organic. If you want organic deer meat, dont feed them. The corn you feed has pesticide and herbicide in it. Lots of dairy farms feed cows skittles by the truck load as a cheap and easily available sugar, which cows need to produce milk.

I think that if fed too much it would rot their teeth and their probably gonna be up all night.

They will also be eating natural forage etc. You would never know it. Time to get you a high fence place & just let the deer eat browse etc. No added food.
