Got this one in the backyard tonight.Underneath a plastic blind I am working on.

It's a copperhead for sure,have killed plenty of them. grass snakes don't have fangs or vertical slits for pupils. Too dark to go out and get the head right now:

i dont think i'd pick up a copperhead, i'll grab rattlesnakes all day long but other than that i just kill em
