I have a 2018 Polaris Ranger 570. Yesterday I was driving it and I traveled maybe a quarter of a mile and I felt a lost of power and then the l engine backfired 3 times in a matter of 10-15 seconds. I could never restart it for more than 10 seconds and it would die. It does have some stale gas in it so that’s my first task to see if that helps any. Just wanted to see if anyone had similar issues with their machines.

I was thinking bad gas before you even mentioned it was old.
Drain the tank and add fresh, probably change the filter as well. You might also want to check the plugs. -

If fresh gas doesnt fix it check wiring around map sensors and TPS sensors. Some models they where know to rub together. Also mice like this area.Comment

Run some Seafoam through it if you think it was bad gas.Comment

Definitely swap gas for new, and throw in a new plug. If the check engine light comes on check the code and see what it says.Comment
