I'm curious if you all, polar bear hunters, are legally able to sell your hides in the FHA Auction in Canada?
They do auction and do private sales of polar bear hides but do not advertise them.

I have no idea on that. I have mine to my guides. They can use the hide or sell them. I think they used to make good money on the hides. Like several thousand per hide. They told me that with the current fur trade they might get a few hundred.

Iva been wondering and pondering...was that skinned out hide as stiff as a piece of plywood laying out on the frozen snow in the frozen air in the frozen tundra in the frozen country? I just got to thinkin', as I'm prone to do , that a LOT of little things we do down here, and take for granted ( granite for some), are totally different up there in the -20 country.

I am assuming you learned how to adapt and made it home safely with your willy intact!
