    Try Cazadores, it’s pretty good.

      Tapatio is my latest favorite.

And just picked up a bottle of Tears of Llorona a few minutes ago. Can’t wait to taste it.

        Heradura is another good one.

Don't be afraid to try a tequila old fashion.

I’ve heard a lot of folks talk down on Codigo. I’ve had a ton of different tequilas and it has definitely become one of our top three.

I won’t “talk down” on it…. But at its price point and hype, it’s out gunned by a ton and even sub par over lesser priced offerings.

Its hype is based on association with a guy that sings…. Not a man that’s known for fine spirits

It’s not bad at all….. it’s just not as good as it’s price tag

Pretty much how I feel as well, I do not hate it but it’s hyped only because it’s the King’s. Should also add my SIL loves it and buys it often for our bay house, I drink it free without comment

I saw a bottle of it at the store yesterday that was $1,000!

He was one of the founders but they've since sold it off to a French company I believe. Codigo is good stuff, for those who like Anejo try the Casa Del Sol, good for sipping or an Oaxacan Old Fashioned.

I’m not a big tequila fan, but the Heradura took me to a special place one time. I’m a fan of this one and can’t really drink any others I’ve tried.

Tequila has come a long way since Jose Cuervo as a standard. Lote Maestro anejo is another hidden gem worthy of a try for some of y'all.

I'm a big fan of Qui Platinum Extra Añejo and have been drinking it for a while. I started out paying about $40/bottle but, recently, it's gone up to $70 or $80. My husband brought home a few less expensive tequilas to try, one of which was Tres Generaciones. TG was surprisingly rich and smooth, given the price point, and is has become my top pick for an all-around tequila.

It’s awesome. So is casamigos anejo and Lalo blanco.
