Get out there when you can and kill one.
Then hang it up. They won’t come back.

Crows would pull our pecans off tree branches and my Dad would shoot one and hang the crow up with string in the tree and that would keep the others out of that tree. maybe shoot some and hang on feeder pen fence?

I did the same thing a few years ago when they were getting into my corn patch as it was coming up... I got 3 of 'em one morning and hung 'em on the fence next to the corn patch and didn't have another crow the rest of the season... I was not able to babysit the corn last year, and the crows won... Finally gave up. Did not harvest a single ear of corn... I hate crows worse than cattle!!

To add insult to injury, shoot one, hopefully without them seeing you, then let it lay till sunset. Just before sunset hide near it and crows from all around will come and make a racket, gather around, swoop down etc. When the time is right cut loose and kill a few more. Then hang em up. My grandpa said they all know each other and get upset when they see the dead carcass laying there. I discovered the sunset thing by chance.

It works. Have done it several times. After doing it they will avoid landing anywhere near that spot for years.

                        HELP with CROWS

I was hunting with a TBH member in Gonzales one year and he asked if I wanted to crow hunt. I had never done it so I said sure. He set the caller up and explained we had to kill the scouts to get more to come in. We had a freaking blast. I could not stop laughing and we kept shooting.

                        I highly recommend it!

Have Pecan trees in the back yard and have been at war with the crows since 2005. They are smart birds and I only get to kill 2-3 a year. If you leave the dead one lay, there won't be any more crows in that area for a while. Killing one where you don't want them really goes a lot further than one would guess.

Spend a weekend hunting them. Crow decoys, crow caller and a Simi auto with no plug and some high brass #5 shot..... you will have a blast and fix your crow problem. Just don't pick them up.
